Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

It’s really hard to grasp the enormous amount of spiritual delusion necessary to make someone ordained to be a priest of the Most High utter the abysmal idiocy that after death everybody is a Christian, as this conceited imbecile does.

the demons also believe, and tremble.

If you still don’t believe that the world is entirely in the hands of the devil’s servants and worshippers, you are definitely not paying attention; and if you by now still are not paying attention, you are most probably beyond any help for salvation.

The Spirit listeth where He wills, but He has only one abode on Earth: the Mystic Body of Christ, the Church.

I have liked very much this short essay by Vladyka Athanasius (Yevtich) on the boundaries of the Church, as much as I have disliked this video by the worthy Gregory Decapolite on the martyrdom of the heretics. This looks apparently like a paradox, as both works conclude rightly for the coincidence of the canonic and charismatic boundaries of the Church, but that’s hardly a surprise in Christianity. After all, have you ever seen something more paradoxical than God dying on the Cross? Indeed, the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God!

Both works share an absence too: they quote profusely the holy fathers of the Church, yet not a word from the Lord.

But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Eliah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; but unto none of them was Eliah sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

The Bride is holy, indeed, and full of grace, but the Sovereign is the Bridegroom.

And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is on our part.

For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

When you belong to the Church and fall away, then your sin is against the Holy Spirit. Verily there is no salvation outside the Church in that case.

When you do not belong to the Church, when nobody has announced you the Truth, when you have never seen Him as He is but only the fantasies about him of the world, and have been filled by the empty chatters of men lost in the vanity of their minds instead of being nourished by His Grace in the Sacraments, then your sin is not against the Truth.

If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

A Coptic killed for Christ’s sake or an Armenian massacred because unwilling to deny the Lord are not martyrs? I humbly suggest to avoid being so bold in giving a negative answer.

They do not confess a correct Christology, indeed. Yet I wonder how many of the brethren in my parish would be able to give even a rough resume of the theology of Chalcedon. How many of them would be able to expound the reasons of the terrifying theological consequences of the Filioque? How many Orthodox hold superstitious, i.e. blasphemous, beliefs? How many pious brothers have departed without a correct understanding of the Misteries of God? How many priests of the Most High preaches heresies today? How many did yesterday?

After all, even St. Augustine of Hippo had a flawed understanding of the Holy Trinity. St. Gregory of Nyssa, then, believed that the death on the Cross was a sacrifice to satisfy the devil. I could continue, but I will not, lest I give the impression that a sinner is judging the saints.

The canonic and charismatic boundaries of the Church coincide indeed, but not everything found within the canonic boundaries is charismatic.

If the Lord has guaranteed a reward for a cup of water given in His name, should I listen to zealous brothers who deny that reward for a barrel of blood, one’s own life, given confessing His name? I will not!

Glory be to God, the judgement is of the Lord!

Of course, all of the above apply only to those who are born in the heresy and are grown in it, without any consciousness or awareness or understanding of it, who have never done a willing choice for it.

I exhort you, my brethren: do not identify the Church with the sensible, earthly forms and systems of appearance in this world, for it could lead to a sort of idolatry.

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

Only the Sacraments are always charismatic, and there are no Sacraments outside the canonical boundaries of the Church, but mere sacramental forms and ecclesial forms.

The difference between a Sacrament and a sacramental form is the difference between a gun and a toy-gun, roughly speaking. The latter has the form of a gun, but it’s not of much use in a fight, even if it can make a certain impression at first. The ecclesial forms can baptize with water, only the Church baptizes with the Spirit. Therefore, whoever is baptized outside the Church may not be baptized again, provided that the baptism is made with water in the name of the Holy Trinity by a Christian, though in error (this excludes all the ecclesial forms which ordains women or justify the abomination of Sodom or preach that the Eucharist and the Resurrection are just symbolic), but should always be chrismated when in repentance ask to be joined to the Church. There is the form, but only the Body of Christ can liven it.

Anyway, these sacramental and ecclesial forms are deprived of the Spirit, but they are not deprived of the mercy of God.

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

God is not a bureaucrat. His requirements at the Dreadful Seat will not be the right certificate of baptism nor a prolusion about the degree of influence by Evagrius in St. Maximos the Confessor.

Remember that the Lord of Glory was crucified by those who sat in Moses’ seat; and just a few years after St. Constantine the Great did set free the Church, Her hierarchies were for the most part heretics. The present often is not less shameful!

“The road to Hell is paved with the bones of priests and monks, and the skulls of bishops are the lamp posts that light the path.”

St. John Chrysostom

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

The canonic and charismatic boundaries of the Church coincide indeed, but it’s the Holy Spirit Who fills and leads the Church, not the other way around. The Church does not define nor delimit the Holy Spirit; it’s the other way around!

The Bride does not have authority upon the Bridegroom. It’s the Spirit Who quickens the Body, not the other way around!

“And unto the angel of the Russian Church write: ‘I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast My name, and hast not denied My faith, even in those days wherein Tikhon was My faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth’”

The good Paul Smirnov has forgotten to report the remaining verses that the Lord addressed to the Church in Pergamos, that he has transposed to the Church in the Rus’ lands.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of the beast, who taught Sergius to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to despise the blood of the martyrs, and to slander My confessors.

So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Sergianites, which thing I hate.

Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

I humbly exhorts the Rus’ hierarchies to come to their senses, lest the Lord removes their lampstand and appoints their lot with the hypocrites.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, and say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

The only purpose of almost the entire movies industry is to model mankind in horrid images of the beast, as required by the evil one who possesses them: the primordial assassin and the father of lies.

This last product is one of the filthiest slander that they have ever conceived

May all of them share in their master’s fate of unending destruction!
