His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic today officially unveiled the monument to the last Russian emperor – Nicholas II, that was erected last month in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. (LINK)
“Then came the death of Christianity in Russia. The Ipatiev House became a place of pilgrimmage and Calvary. The murder of the royal family became a symbol of the suffering of others.” He said that today in Belgrade, there is another new symbol of an old friendship – “a place where we’ll reminisce about the values of the general history shared by Russia and Serbia.”
Of course, talk is cheap, above all government talk. Action speaks much loader, because action speaks the truth!
