You can read the first part of the serie “Me and the Scumbags at Paypal” here.
Below I comment on the last shameless nonsense released by them.
Let me understand!
After the buyer claim, you spend a month doing absolutely nothing and then give him the money back because “you could not track the shipment”, notwithstanding I gave you all the relevant informations and did the shipment following all the steps required by your policy.
After this scandalous decision, I track the shipment on line in five minute time, exposing your incredible negligence and letting you and the buyer know where the item is, and you say that you can’t give me appeal because “there’s no proof of delivery”.
All the buyer has to do to get delivery is a toll-free call to his local postal office, but he of course does not move his ass, because you have sold him insurance at my expense and he has got his money. Of course, he also does not think appropriate to behave like a civilized person, doing that toll-free call just to give me informations about the problem at the postal office and helping me to get back the coin. Oh, there’s more: he does not think appropriate not even to answer to my several emails.
And all is okay with you. You don’t think it’s fair to contact him, saying the only thing that can make such a petty person to act: “check at your postal office to know what is the problem to get the coin, because the coin is there, otherwise you’ll have to pay back the money”.
No, of course! Probably, following your sick logic, you think that it’s me who have to go in Canada to check the problem.
All is okay with you, notwithstanding that all the problem was born from the fact that you spent the whole time of your “investigation” scratching your belly.
You could not track the shipment…… you could not do in a couple of month what every person with half a brain can do in five minute: go to the Canada Post website and check the tracking number I provided……. you useless BIP!
Of course, all of this apart from the fact that I have not to provide any “proof of delivery”. I have no control on the Post and even custom taxes is a buyer responsibility. The buyer did not pay for insured shipment, he did pay for a registered shipping and he got it. I have to provide a “proof of shipment” and I did it.
You had to provide fairness, logic, good faith and competence, protecting the source of your wealth, but you failed miserably. I hope you will be history in a few years!
I avoid to bother you with the countless nonsensical and insulting (for my intelligence) answers I got every time I contacted their “customer support”, answers which never addressed the merit of the questions and sometimes did suggest that the author didn’t even read my complaint. Even now, about the new development in this case, they keep on repeating always the same two sentences, like a broken record, never addressing the merit: their negligence, incompetence and their immoral (and illegal, I think) selling of insurance to buyers at sellers’ expense, plus the bad faith of the buyer in this case.
But I can’t spare you the Grand Final.
On their website, there is a section called “File a Complaint in the European Union”, where you can complain against Paypal. I did it, filing a complaint against them regarding this case.
Well, do you know who decide on these complaints filed AGAINST Paypal?
You nailed it ! PAYPAL !!!
You can read tens of thousands stories in the web about their misconduct. You’ll be submerged by them if you google “Paypal horror stories”.
Please stay far, far away from them. They are really despicable. Few things are worse than shameless people!
